About the role

We are seeking an experienced Area Fleet Management Manager to join our team based in Cebu but should be open to traveling nationwide. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role within our fleet management operations. As Supervisor for Fleet Operations and Management, you will be responsible for overseeing all fleet operations within the assigned area, ensuring optimal performance, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency. This role is integral to our company's commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-maintained fleet that supports our business objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure fleet availability to support uninterrupted business operations across all areas.
• Monitor vehicle utilization, downtime, fleet health, and replacement requirements.
• Develop and implement fleet capacity plans aligned with business growth.
• Manage and evaluate accredited repair shops and suppliers, including service agreements and performance reviews.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs to improve vehicle reliability and minimize breakdowns.
• Analyze recurring vehicle issues and coordinate corrective actions with service providers.
• Track and report fleet performance through dashboards, analytics, and operational reviews, recommending continuous improvements.
• Ensure compliance with vehicle registrations, insurance, permits, safety standards, and internal fleet policies.
• Analyze fleet operating costs, maintenance expenses, and supplier performance to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead the fleet team by managing performance, developing employees, and driving process improvements across fleet operations.

What we're looking for

Has at least a Bachelor’s degree in:

• Mechanical / Industrial Engineering (preferred), or any Engineering/Transportation/Logistics or Business related courses
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in fleet management or a related operations management role
• Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance procedures, vehicle mechanics, and transportation regulations\
• Experience in staff supervision and team management within a logistics or transport environment
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with drivers, maintenance teams, and senior management
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in fleet operations
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in managing operational challenges
• Willing to do 50% or more field work nationwide
• Preferred: Experience in the food manufacturing or logistics industry would be advantageous
• Preferred: Knowledge of Philippine transport regulations and local compliance requirements
