Fleet Rental Manager

Job Summary

The Lilly Company -founded in 1919 is an industry leader in the Material handling Industry. We are currently seeking a Rental Manager for the Tupelo, MS TOYOTA operation. Responsibilities and Duties

• Locate new prospects and determine how the company can best meet their needs
• Present to prospects the benefits of our equipment and our company
• Maintain data on new contracts
• Develop good working relationships with customers
• Expedite resolution of technical and customer issues
• Meet and/or exceed assigned rental quotas
• Monitor new products developed by our manufacturers and competitors
• Document calls made to customers
• Advise manager of all changes in territory which can affect company success
• Verify equipment is delivered as ordered and in a timely manner
• Work closely with Credit Manager to resolve credit/payment issues
• Interact with main line sales employees to create synergy amongst team members
• Conduct all business transactions in an ethical manner

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in forklift, material handling equipment or heavy equipment rentals or sales preferred
• Excellent time management skills
• Able to communicate in written format clearly and concisely
• Ability to communicate effectively with others
• Excellent customer service skills
