What they need

If you’re someone who thrives on problem-solving, juggling priorities, and keeping things running smoothly, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Come join the team at Cement Australia!

Based at our Naval Base site, our Bulk Fleet Schedulers play a key role in keeping our operations running seamlessly. You’ll coordinate the movement of our bulk cement deliveries across Western Australia, ensuring everything runs safely, efficiently, and on time. From managing delivery schedules and supporting drivers to keeping customers updated and resolving challenges on the go, you’ll be right at the centre of a fast-paced, high-performing logistics team that keeps Australia building.

Roster:

  • Rotating 9-day fortnight, including weekend and on-call coverage as required, with an on-call allowance provided.

Your Opportunity

  • Scheduling deliveries in compliance with legislative requirements, customer expectations, and Cement Australia standards to ensure timely, efficient deliveries with maximum payloads.
  • Recording, addressing, and resolving customer feedback, complaints, and delivery failures.
  • Planning, developing, and directing distribution practices to meet delivery timelines and budgetary requirements.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure proper permits, training, and licensing, and working with management to address any gaps.
  • Assisting with Main Roads audits.

What You’ll Bring

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in a fast-paced transport or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • A strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility, on-road legislation, permits, and the Main Roads AMMS/RAV network.
  • Excellent organisational skills, time management, and the ability to multitask and adapt to change quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven planning, problem-solving, and analytical abilities to navigate complex logistics issues.
  • Confidence with computers and systems including experience in fleet and freight databases.
  • Knowledge of the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA locations.
  • The ability to work independently, as well as contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
