About the role
The Fleet Supervisor shall be responsible for performing duties that include supervising transport and managing vehicles/equipment within the company, updating daily serviceable status reports, and developing effective relationships with internal customers, drivers and vendors.
Key responsibilities
- Supervising transport and managing vehicles/equipment within the company
- Updating of daily serviceable status report of vehicles/equipment
- Develop effective relationships with internal customers, drivers and vendors
- Conduct checks on areas of responsibility to ensure that standards of equipment and targeted performance standards are met
- Assist in conducting audits on vendors to ensure contract compliances
- Assesses the work environment, vehicle/equipment, and processes to develop and maintain a safe work environment
- Responsible for the daily supervision on company repair workshop on repair progression
- Assist in accident/incident investigation, interviewing, evaluating and disciplining of drivers
- Sending vehicles and equipment for inspections
