Fleet Support Coordinator

Primary Function:

Provide support to OTR, short haul, local drivers and entire customer base. Maintain facilities including light housekeeping after hours.

Essential Position Responsibilities:

· Assist with driver and customer issues promptly and courteously

· Knowledge of company policies and procedures to promote safety among driving staff

· Help direct flow of empty equipment to satisfy customer needs

· Perform general housekeeping duties when needed

• Issue EFS checks when needed
• Execute procedures in reference to vehicle accidents and on the job injuries

· Help drivers with directions when needed

· Monitor late deliveries and communicate any and all issues to customers

· Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

· Strong communication skills

· Computer proficient

· Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks

· Ability to work a flexible schedule

· Strong problem solving ability and customer service oriented

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or GED is required; 2-Year degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Business and/or Transportation experience considered

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting and standing at a desk and working on a computer

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
