Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Flexo Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating flexographic printing presses, ensuring high-quality production of labels, packaging, and other printed materials. Your expertise in machine operation, color management, and print quality will drive the success of our printing processes. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexo printing presses with precision, ensuring optimal print quality and efficiency.
• Adjust machine settings and perform routine maintenance to maintain smooth production flow.
• Interpret production documents, including job tickets and specifications, to ensure accurate output.
• Manage color consistency through effective color management techniques and calibration procedures.
• Conduct quality control inspections throughout the printing process to detect and correct defects promptly.
• Collaborate with prepress teams to prepare artwork files using graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and prepress software.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on press equipment, including large-format printers and screen printing machinery.
• Maintain detailed records of production runs, machine adjustments, and quality checks for traceability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and adhering to safety standards.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of flexo press operation, including industrial equipment adjustment and machine setup.
• Proficiency in color management techniques to ensure accurate color reproduction across print jobs.
• Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, layout design, typography, and prepress software.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair printing machinery effectively.
• Familiarity with digital printing, large-format printers, screen printing, machining, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent understanding of print production workflows from prepress to final finishing.
• Ability to interpret technical documents accurately and follow detailed instructions for complex projects.
• Skilled in quality control procedures to maintain high standards of print output and consistency.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
