Flexographic Printer

About the role

This is a permanent, full-time day shift position working alongside an experienced and supportive team, operating our 6 and 8 colour flexographic printing presses. While we operate day shift only, some overtime during the week and Saturday mornings will be required.

Key responsibilities

• Setting up and operating our 6 and 8 colour flexographic printing presses, preparing inks, mounting plates and washing up
• Producing high-quality printed packaging to customer specifications
• Monitoring print quality to maintain consistent standards
• Carrying out routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues
• Working safely and efficiently while meeting production schedules
• Contributing to a clean, safe and productive work environment

About you

• Preferred, but not necessary, experience operating flexographic printing presses
• Experience in the printing and/or packaging industry
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes within the packaging industry
• A strong eye for detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• A sound understanding of health and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• A positive attitude, reliability and a commitment to doing the job well
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills
