Flexologist / Assisted Stretching Coach

StretchLab Subiaco is looking for motivated, people-focused professionals to join our team as Flexologists.

We are seeking Personal Trainers, Massage Therapists, Physiotherapy or Chiropractic students, Yoga instructors, Exercise or Sport Science students and experienced fitness professionals.

This is a casual-to-part-time opportunity. New team members begin casually while they complete paid training and demonstrate that they are the right fit for our clients, team and long-term culture. Successful candidates may progress into consistent part-time hours.

About StretchLab

StretchLab provides one-on-one assisted stretching and guided group mobility sessions. Our clients come to us because they want to move better, feel less restricted and continue doing the activities they enjoy.

You will receive full training through the StretchLab Flexologist Training Program. No previous assisted-stretching experience is required.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the fitness, movement, recovery or wellness industry, not someone looking for a short three to six -month position.

The Role

You will:

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretching sessions
• Lead guided small-group stretching classes
• Build strong relationships with members
• Motivate clients and help them work toward their goals
• Maintain safe, professional stretching standards
• Support member retention and membership growth
• Assist with studio tours and client consultations
• Handle client questions professionally
• Attend team meetings and ongoing education
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming studio
• Contribute positively to the StretchLab community

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Loves helping people and creating a positive client experience
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Is reliable, punctual and professional
• Is confident working hands-on with clients
• Has an interest in mobility, flexibility, fitness or recovery
• Can work independently while contributing to a team
• Wants consistent, long-term employment
• Is comfortable working some mornings, evenings and weekends
• Local to the Subiaco area of have own reliable means of transport

Qualifications and Requirements

A background in one or more of the following is required:

• Certificate III in Fitness or equivalent
• Personal Training
• Massage Therapy
• Physiotherapy or Chiropractic students
• Exercise or Sport Science students
• Yoga instruction
• Group exercise instruction

You must be willing to:

• Complete the StretchLab training program
• Hold and maintain current First Aid and CPR/Resuscitation certificates
• Obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance
• Hold or obtain a Working With Children Check where required
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, bending, kneeling and assisting clients of different sizes

All training is provided and paid in accordance with applicable employment requirements.

Important Training Commitment

Because StretchLab invests significantly in training and paid onboarding, successful applicants will be required to sign a written training-cost agreement before commencing training.

The agreement includes an incremental repayment schedule if an employee voluntarily leaves or is terminated within the agreed period. Full terms will be provided and explained before acceptance of employment.
