Flight Dispatch Supervisor, Airline and Charter Operations

Global Virtuoso builds and runs specialist operating teams for critical business functions and has run aviation operations from Manila since 2007, with more than 1.6 million flights planned. We are standing up a new operations control team for a foreign AOC holder flying a mix of scheduled and charter operations. You will build this team from its first day, lead it from the seat, and grow with the operation.

What you will do

• Lead the dispatch team covering operations control and trip planning, working shifts alongside them.
• Build and manage the shift roster, and cover leave, training, and short-notice absences.
• Plan, file, and monitor flights in the client's planning system, such as ForeFlight, including oceanic sectors and diversions.
• Set the flight planning standard, checking plans and briefing packages before they reach the crew.
• Stand up the operation: procedures, work instructions, mock exercises, and a supervised start.
• Train, assess, and develop dispatchers against the client's manual and civil aviation requirements.
• Own quality assurance and reporting, and act as the client's escalation point.

What you bring

Must-haves:

• A current dispatcher or flight operations officer license from CAAP or another civil aviation authority
• At least five years in flight dispatch, two of them supervising or leading dispatchers
• Demonstrable experience building and filing flight plans: routing, alternates, fuel, permits, NOTAMs
• Demonstrable experience in flight following, schedule monitoring, and operational meteorology
• Clear written and spoken English for direct client communication

Nice-to-haves:

• An FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certificate ForeFlight or comparable planning system experience
• Experience across scheduled airline, charter, or business aviation operations

Hours and shifts

The team works onsite at our Makati operations center on rotating eight-hour shifts with a one-hour break, five days a week, across two shift schedules between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM Manila time. As the operation scales the covered hours may extend, so flexibility to work different shifts as assigned is part of the role.
