Flight Paramedic

About the Opportunity

Join our client, a leading provider of helicopter air ambulance and critical-care transport services across the United States, as a Flight Paramedic in Eloy, Arizona. In this full-time role, you will provide life-saving medical care to critically ill and injured patients during pre-hospital and interfacility transports. Work alongside experienced healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and support safe, efficient medical transport operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients of all ages in pre-hospital and interfacility transport settings.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and administer emergency medical treatment.
• Accurately document patient care and support billing processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external clinical teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and complete recurring competency assessments.
• Follow clinical practices established by the program Medical Director and comply with applicable state regulations.

Requirements

• Active paramedic certification in the state of employment.
• At least three years of experience as a Paramedic in a high-volume 911 or pre-hospital service; five years preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, and PHTLS or ITLS.
• NRP and instructor certifications preferred.
• Ability to obtain FP-C certification within 24 months of hire.
• Previous flight or medical transport experience preferred.
• Successful completion of the required education and orientation program.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Basic computer skills, including email and electronic patient charting.
• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
• Ability to pass required pre-placement physical examinations and screenings.
• Ability to maintain a body weight below 235 pounds.
