This established aviation training organisation operates a fleet of commercial Full Flight Simulators, supporting the training requirements of professional pilots and airline operators. With a strong focus on simulator reliability, technical standards and operational performance, the company is looking to strengthen its engineering team. They are open to candidates ranging from experienced Simulator Technicians through to Senior Engineers and Shift Leads, with responsibilities and remuneration tailored to individual experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, fault-finding and ongoing reliability of commercial Full Flight Simulators. You will work across electrical, electronic, avionics, motion, control loading and visual systems, carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring simulator availability. More experienced candidates will have the opportunity to take ownership of complex technical problems, support regulatory evaluations and mentor junior engineers.

The Role:

• Maintenance and fault-finding on commercial Full Flight Simulators (FFS)
• Preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, electronic, motion, control loading and visual systems
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and simulator performance issues
• Running and reviewing Qualification Test Guides (QTGs), calibrations and visual alignments
• Supporting simulator reliability, regulatory compliance and operational readiness
• Opportunity to take on Senior Engineer or Shift Lead responsibilities depending on experience
• 24/7 shift operation, including a 4-on/4-off pattern

The Person:

• Previous hands-on experience maintaining commercial fixed-wing flight simulators
• Experience with Full Flight Simulators (FFS), ideally Boeing or Airbus
• Background as a Simulator Technician, Flight Simulator Engineer, Senior Simulator Engineer or similar
