Floater/ Breaker

About This Role Our growing preschool is hiring for a Breaker/Floater position.. This is a perfect entry level position for anyone interested in childcare or enrolled in early childhood education classes at a higher learning institution. The floater will cover lunch/potty breaks and move between classrooms as needed. These needs may change on a day to day basis. The hours are 11- 6:00 Monday-Friday.

What You'll Do

• Cover breaks
• Be flexible and willing to go into a class as needed
• Playing
• Singing
• Arts and crafts
• Assist lead teachers with daily activities and tasks
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of classrooms

Requirements

• Prefer 6 months experience in a LICENSED DSS/ABC affiliated childcare center
• High school diploma/GED
• Must pass SLED background check
• Able to lift at least 25 pounds
• passion for working with children
