Floater Cleaner

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and dependable Floater Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of various facility areas including restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure optimal sanitation standards are met.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities during different shifts or locations as needed, demonstrating flexibility in your work assignments.
• Follow safety protocols for chemical handling and manual lifting to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning activities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning environments is a plus.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment including vacuum cleaners confidently and safely.
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while adhering to safe lifting practices.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards across multiple locations.
• Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude when interacting with staff or visitors.
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
