FLOATER/ASSISTANT DAYCARE

Overview
Join our floaters team helping in school age classroom, as well as assisting small classrooms, basically i sto keep the children busy and happy! classroom clean and organized, we will guide you for professional development

Responsibilities

• Support classroom activities by assisting teachers with daily routines, including diapering, feeding, and nap times for infants and toddlers.
• Engage children in age-appropriate play, educational activities, and social interactions to promote development and curiosity.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by following health and safety protocols at all times.
• Observe and document children’s progress, behaviors, and needs to inform teaching strategies and parent communication.
• Provide responsive care to children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or additional support.
• Assist in managing classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and consistent guidance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth transitions between activities and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for children and families.

Skills

• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or nannying settings.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage with children’s families.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.51 per hour
