Floater/Assistant Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Floater/Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties

• Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans focused on literacy, math, and social-emotional development.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that promotes active learning and exploration.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that develop early childhood skills such as literacy, numeracy, and fine motor abilities.
• Collaborate with team members to manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective classroom management techniques.
• Provide mentorship and support to students during activities, transitions, and routines to foster independence and confidence.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children’s progress, milestones, and any concerns that arise.

Experience

• Prior classroom experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education methods, and behavior management strategies is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with colleagues, mentoring students, and engaging families.
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and patience.
