What they need
Responsibilities:
-Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their well-being at all times.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
Coverage of classroom teacher's and assistant for lunch breaks. This position is Monday through Friday, and also entails subsitute teaching in all age groups.
Coverage of classroom teacher's and assistant for "Days of Requests". This varies according to the shift for the staff that has requested the day off.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Patience, compassion, and understanding when working with children with special needs, including autism.
