Floating General Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Floating General Manager to oversee and coordinate hospitality operations across multiple properties or locations. This energetic leader will ensure seamless daily hotel management, uphold exceptional guest service standards, and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, multilingual capabilities, and extensive experience in hospitality management, including overseeing budgets, revenue management, and team supervision. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations across multiple properties or locations, ensuring consistency in service quality and operational standards
• Supervise hospitality teams, including front desk staff, housekeeping, food & beverage personnel, and other departments to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment
• Manage hospitality operations budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement revenue management strategies to maximize profitability
• Ensure compliance with hotel guest service standards, property management systems (PMS), and hospitality reservation systems to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Lead human resources activities such as staffing, training, performance evaluations, and maintaining a positive team culture
• Oversee guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring customer service excellence at all touchpoints
• Coordinate with night audit teams and manage financial operations including billing accuracy and cash handling procedures
• Utilize multilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse guests and staff from various cultural backgrounds
• Maintain property safety protocols, oversee multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette, and ensure overall property maintenance

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervisory responsibilities
• Strong background in overseeing daily hotel operations within resort or hotel environments
• Extensive knowledge of revenue management, budgeting, financial operations, and human resources practices in the hospitality industry
• Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, and property management software tools
• Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly preferred to serve an international clientele better
• Demonstrated experience managing hospitality teams within a fast-paced environment with a focus on guest services
• Prior experience in resort settings or night audit functions is advantageous
• Ability to adapt quickly across different properties or locations while maintaining high standards of service

Pay: $84,600.00 - $102,000.00 per year
