Floor Captain

We are looking for a responsible, energetic, and service-oriented Floor Captain to join our Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will support the Floor Supervisor and lead the service team to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Floor Supervisor in managing daily restaurant floor operations.
• Coordinate and supervise Waiters/Waitresses during service.
• Ensure guests receive friendly, professional, and efficient service.
• Monitor the service flow and ensure all tables are properly attended to.
• Assign sections and daily tasks to service staff.
• Assist in handling guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Ensure food and beverages are served according to company standards.
• Conduct or assist with pre-shift briefings and communicate important information to the team.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper setup of the dining and service areas.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, and other departments to ensure smooth service.
• Monitor the availability and proper use of service equipment.
• Support and guide new team members during their training.
• Report operational issues and staff concerns to the Floor Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Senior High School / Vocational School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar F&B role.
• Previous experience as a Captain or Team Leader is an advantage.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of restaurant service standards and F&B operations.
• Well-groomed, friendly, and customer-oriented.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good English communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Responsible, proactive, and attentive to detail.
