About the role

Balkan Shawarma is seeking Floor staff who go beyond taking orders, serving food, and handling the register. We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with guests naturally and authentically, not just a waiter/waitress who can say "welcome".

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and make them feel welcome
• Interact with guests naturally and in a friendly manner
• Help customers choose menu items and explain food in an engaging way
• Pay attention to guest needs while they are at the outlet
• Ensure guest experience remains comfortable from arrival to finishing their meal
• Handle customer questions or complaints calmly and positively
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen and other team members to provide good service

About you

• Naturally friendly, not forced
• Enjoys interacting with customers
• Not afraid or uncomfortable meeting new people
• Able to sense guest needs without waiting for instructions
• Can read situations: knowing when to chat and when to give privacy
• Experience in coffee shop, bar, restaurant, hotel, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
• We are more interested in attitude and personality than just skills
