Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Floor Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the hypermarket floor. The candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining product availability and presentation, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving sales and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily floor operations of the hypermarket.
• Lead, guide, and monitor sales associates and floor staff.
• Ensure proper product display, pricing, labelling, and merchandising.
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the inventory/store team for replenishment.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
• Ensure the floor is clean, organized, and maintained according to company standards.
• Monitor sales performance and support the team in achieving daily/monthly targets.
• Conduct regular floor checks to identify operational issues.
• Coordinate with purchase, warehouse, billing, and other departments.
• Ensure proper implementation of company policies and SOPs.
• Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline, and work allocation.
• Reduce product damage, expiry, pilferage, and stock discrepancies.
• Assist in promotional activities, offers, and seasonal campaigns.
• Prepare and share daily operational and sales reports with management.
• Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

Required Skills

• Good leadership and team-management skills.
• Strong customer-handling and communication skills.
• Knowledge of hypermarket/retail operations.
• Good understanding of inventory and merchandising.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office/retail billing or POS systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Qualification

Graduate preferred with relevant experience in hypermarket, supermarket, retail, or FMCG operations.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
