What they need
Floor Manager – The Buzz
The Pantiles, Tunbridge Wells, TN2 5TN
Full-time
About The Buzz
The Buzz is an independent, family-run hospitality and workspace venue on The Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells.
We combine a Greek-inspired café, bar and restaurant with a flexible workspace offering hot-desking, meeting rooms, office rental and private events. Alongside our day-to-day food and beverage operation, we host events, live music and private bookings, creating a diverse, fast-paced environment where no two days are quite the same!
We are looking for an experienced Floor Manager to take ownership of the operational running of the venue and help ensure that The Buzz consistently operates to a high professional standard.
The Role
The Floor Manager is an operations and systems-focused management position, responsible for ensuring that the whole venue is clean, organised, fully stocked, safe and operationally ready at all times.
You will work closely alongside the General Manager to set out operational strategies, whilst taking on an independently-minded, hands-on role in the day-to-day running of the venue. You will be expected to lead by example, manage and support the team, enforce company procedures and identify and resolve/escalate issues.
The successful candidate will have previous managerial experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment and be confident managing a medium-sized team.
As The Buzz continues to develop its workspace and events offering, there will also be opportunities to learn and become involved in the wider business, including our hot-desking, meeting rooms, membership scheme, office rental and event enquiries.
