Floor Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The Floor Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient restaurant operations, staff training, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
• Train and develop team members in food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures.
• Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately, including Aloha POS.
• Maintain inventory control, ensuring proper stock levels of food and supplies while minimizing waste.
• Implement food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and conflict resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure quality food production and timely service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of wine, liquor/cocktails, food handling, preparation techniques, and safety regulations.
• Experience with inventory control.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Background in fine dining is preferred.
• Familiarity with banquet operations, or bar management is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
