Floor Manager

The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing daily dining-room operations, supervising front-of-house staff, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role involves coordinating service activities, managing team performance, resolving customer concerns, and maintaining high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills and the ability to keep restaurant and cocktail service running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily floor operations and dining-room service.
• Supervise servers, hosts, bartenders, and other front-of-house employees.
• Assign staff duties and coordinate shift schedules and breaks.
• Train new employees on service procedures and hospitality standards.
• Ensure guests receive friendly, attentive, and professional service.
• Manage table assignments, reservations, and guest seating arrangements.
• Handle customer questions, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely order delivery.
• Monitor food quality, cocktail presentation, and order accuracy.
• Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining and bar areas.
• Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist with POS operations, payment processing, and cash-handling procedures.
• Support inventory checks and restocking of service supplies.
• Ensure compliance with food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety standards.
• Promote responsible alcohol service in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Oversee opening, closing, and shift handover procedures.
• Help coordinate special events, promotions, and guest requests.
• Resolve service issues and staffing challenges during busy periods.
• Communicate operational updates and customer feedback to restaurant management.
• Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in restaurant, bar, or hospitality operations.
• Floor supervision or team-lead experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-coordination abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Knowledge of dining-room operations and food and beverage service.
• Familiarity with POS systems and reservation procedures.
• Understanding of cocktail service and responsible alcohol-service practices.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
