Floor Preparation Trainee

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Floor prep Trainee / Apprentice to join our team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone keen to learn a trade and grow within the industry, with some basic knowledge of flooring tools or processes.

The primary focus of this role is existing floor removal and surface preparation, forming the foundation for all flooring installations. Over time, you will gain hands-on experience and training across a range of specialised flooring systems.

As you progress, you will have the opportunity to learn and work in:

• Polished concrete finishes
• Resin flooring systems
• Carpet tile installation
• Advanced floor preparation techniques using our top of the line equipment.

There is also the opportunity to transition into a formal apprenticeship through the Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation (BCITO), working towards a recognised New Zealand trade qualification while earning on the job.
