Floor Server with experience in bartending

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create an inviting atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
• Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or Aloha POS system.
• Monitor customer behavior and enforce responsible drinking policies.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Uphold food safety standards and maintain cleanliness throughout the bar area.

Skills

• Experience in the food industry, particularly in bartending or catering environments.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation.
• Proficiency in operating Aloha POS systems or similar cash register systems.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food service industry.
• Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively to customers.
• Ability to thrive in a nightclub or fast-paced bar setting while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Retail math skills are a plus for managing inventory and sales tracking.
