Duties

• Greet guests warmly, assist with seating, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere at all times
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen or bar staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic assembly or garnishing of dishes
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods, balancing multiple tables seamlessly
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables, resetting stations, and ensuring a tidy environment

Skills

• Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings with a strong focus on guest service
• Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety regulations, and basic food preparation skills
• Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced service efficiently
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
• Enthusiasm for upselling menu items while ensuring guest satisfaction at all times

Pay: £12.71-£16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week

• Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
