Floor Supervisor

About the role

PT En Prima Food And Beverage is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Floor Supervisor to join our management team in Central Jakarta. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service delivery and maintaining operational excellence across our dining establishment. As a Floor Supervisor, you will be the vital link between our front-of-house team and management, directly impacting guest satisfaction and the overall success of our hospitality operations. Your leadership and attention to detail will be instrumental in creating memorable dining experiences for our patrons whilst maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor operations, ensuring all staff adhere to company service standards and procedures
• Monitor table management and guest flow to optimise the dining experience for all customers
• Supervise and support front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and support personnel
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints, ensuring swift and satisfactory resolution
• Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation throughout the dining areas
• Train new staff members on service protocols, menu knowledge, and house policies
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to maximise capacity and guest satisfaction
• Conduct regular performance checks and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or issues to management
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a floor supervisor or similar supervisory role within in food and beverage industry or japanese restaurants
• Strong knowledge of food service operations, including dining protocols and customer service best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff
• Outstanding organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in training, motivating, and managing team members
• Problem-solving skills with a calm and composed demeanour under pressure
• Proficiency in basic computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) platforms
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the establishment throughout shifts
• High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining service excellence
• Flexibility with scheduling to accommodate operational needs, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• A hospitality management qualification or relevant certification would be advantageous
