Supervisor – Job Summary

As a Supervisor at Zia Lucia, you help run smooth, efficient daily operations and ensure every guest has a great experience. You support the team on the floor, keep standards high, and act as the link between management and staff. This is a hands‑on role where you lead by example, solve problems quickly, and maintain the warm, authentic atmosphere our brand is known for.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Support

• Guide and support the team during shifts, ensuring standards are followed.
• Act as the first point of contact for staff questions or issues.
• Keep communication clear between the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams.

Operational Excellence

• Lead pre‑shift briefings and align the team on goals, specials, and priorities.
• Oversee the floor during service, ensuring smooth operations and happy guests.
• Manage bookings, walk‑ins, and table turnover to maximise capacity.
• Support opening and closing procedures and ensure checklists are completed.

Guest Experience

• Ensure guests are welcomed warmly and receive friendly, efficient service.
• Handle feedback, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.
• Encourage upselling of doughs, drinks, dips, and desserts.

Quality & Standards

• Maintain high standards of food and drink presentation.
• Check restaurant cleanliness throughout the shift, including toilets and bar areas.
• Ensure health and safety standards are consistently met.

Admin & Shift Management

• Assist with staff scheduling and managing labour costs during shifts.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
• Record daily sales, shift notes, and any performance issues.

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
