Floor Supervisor

Job Summary

We are a busy golf club with both a members area and a public bar/restaurant, and we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Supervisor to take responsibility for the venue on their shifts and ensure everything runs smoothly from opening through to closing. This is a part-time position working every Sunday and one other day per week. We are looking for someone to start immediately, and be able to work through the Christmas period. This is a temporary role with a possibility of becoming permanent. The pay is £13.25/ hour plus service charge.

Duties

As the floor supervisor, you will be the main supervisor on shift, overseeing the day-to-day running of the floor and ensuring our members and guests receive a friendly, professional service.

Your duties will include:

• Opening and preparing the venue at the start of your shift
• Supervising daily floor operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
• Bartending and serving customers throughout the shift
• Leading and motivating team members to achieve performance goals and uphold service standards
• Assisting guests with inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience
• Completing end-of-day procedures and closing the bar and venue

Experience

• Previous hospitality and bartending experience is required
• Proven leadership skills in supervising teams within fast-paced environments
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance regulations relevant to hospitality settings
