Duties

• Perform comprehensive floor cleaning using various equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, waxers, and polishers to maintain pristine surfaces.
• Handle and apply floor cleaning chemicals and agents safely, following all safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage.
• Conduct routine floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing
• Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting of equipment or materials, ensuring safety at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors in high-traffic areas through regular sweeping, mopping, and spot cleaning.
• Operate cleaning equipment efficiently while adhering to environmental services standards for sustainability and safety.
• Assist with janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, and supply replenishment to support overall facility cleanliness.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with knowledge of floor care techniques.
• Proficiency in operating cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, buffers, waxers, and carpet cleaners.
• Strong understanding of chemical agent handling with attention to safety procedures for floor cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members.
• Knowledge of environmental services best practices to promote eco-friendly cleaning solutions.
• Experience with floor refinishing, waxing, buffing, and detailed floor maintenance procedures.
