Floor Technician (Floor Tech)

The Floor Tech works with the housekeeping and laundry team to provide a clean environment for all customers residing in and visiting our facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Taking out the trash
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing various floor surfaces
• Stripping and waxing qualifying floor surfaces.
• Cross training in Housekeeping and Laundry should the need to float arise.
• Assist with room moves of residents.
• Assist with discharge cleaning of residents’ rooms, which would include boxing of items and moving furniture.
• Other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director
• Minimal maintenance responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience (preferred)
• Customer service oriented, ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, critical thinking skills, flexibility, and dependability.
