Floor Walker

Your new role:

As a Floor Walker, you will provide hands-on support to end users, responding to technical issues and helping users navigate their devices and systems. You will be visible and approachable on the floor, resolving issues quickly and escalating more complex problems where required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide face-to-face technical support to end users
• Support users with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 applications
• Troubleshoot common hardware, software and connectivity issues
• Assist users with laptops and other end-user devices
• Respond to user queries and resolve issues efficiently
• Escalate more complex technical issues to the appropriate support teams
• Deliver excellent customer service and clear communication
• Support device deployment and ongoing IT activities as required
• Help ensure a positive experience for users during technology changes

Requirements:

• Previous IT support, service desk, desktop support or floor walking experience
• Good knowledge of PC systems and common troubleshooting techniques
• Confidence providing face-to-face support to end users
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
• Experience with device deployments or technology rollouts would be advantageous
• Relevant IT qualifications or certifications would be advantageous
