Floorcare

Full time/ Part time

( 2nd shift 1pm-9pm)

Qualifications:

· Ability to follow directions and perform tasks on instructions.

· Experience in floorcare or the ability and aptitude to learn.

Job Summary: Floorcare is responsible to clean the building and grounds to provide a clean and safe environment for our residents, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities:

· Clean all assigned areas

· Proper care of all tools and equipment

· Economical use of all supplies

· Willingness and ability to perform routine repetitive tasks on a continuous basis

· Consideration for all residents, visitors and staff

· Accept supervision from various department heads and charge nurses as is necessary

· Accept constructive criticism from supervision

· Must be aware of standard cleaning procedures in health care

· Must be able to operate floorcare equipment

Safety:

· Always use wet floor signs and remove them as soon as area is dry.

· Keep all equipment stored in appropriate areas when not in use.

· Keep all chemicals locked at all times.

· Always question anything that appears to be unsafe.

· Keep all chords on one side of the hallway.

· Do not use excessive amounts of water when mopping.

· Never mix chemicals.

· Use all chemicals as directed and in proper dilution ratios.

· If you have questions about the proper use of any chemical or equipment, ask the supervisor.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
