Avani Stone is a commercial flooring contractor specializing in tile, natural stone, and various flooring systems. We work on commercial construction projects throughout Greater Boston and Massachusetts.

We are seeking an experienced, dependable Flooring Foreman to supervise field installations, coordinate flooring crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality of standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily activities of flooring installers and laborers on commercial construction projects.

Coordinate the installation of tile, stone, resilient flooring, and other specified flooring materials.

Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and installation details.

Coordinate manpower, material deliveries, and daily work activities with project management and general contractors.

Maintain quality control and ensure installations meet project specifications.

Conduct daily safety checks and enforce applicable jobsite safety requirements.

Maintain daily manpower reports, progress updates, and accurate employee work-hour records.

Assist with training and supervising new flooring installers and apprentices.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of commercial flooring installation experience preferred.

Previous experience supervising flooring crews or leading installation teams.

Knowledge of tile, stone, and commercial flooring installation methods.

Ability to interpret architectural drawings and construction documents.

Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and construction site procedures.

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Ability to work on construction sites throughout the Boston area.
