As a Flooring Laborer, you will be instrumental in preparing surfaces, handling building materials, and assisting skilled craftsmen to deliver flawless flooring solutions. Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of various flooring types including epoxy, vinyl, hardwood, tile, and carpet, following technical drawings and construction plans.
• Prepare work sites by cleaning surfaces, measuring spaces accurately, and ensuring safety compliance on construction sites.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, fitting, and finishing flooring materials.
• Handle building materials with manual handling techniques to ensure safety and efficiency during installation or restoration projects.
• Support epoxy floor installation, floor refinishing, and water damage restoration tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to ensure accurate material placement and installation procedures.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and adhering to safety standards throughout all phases of flooring projects.

Experience

• Prior experience in construction or building material installation is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, drywall, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and general remodeling techniques is advantageous.
• Knowledge of flooring installation processes such as carpet laying, hardwood floor installation, tile laying, vinyl flooring installation, and floor refinishing enhances your candidacy.
• Experience in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans ensures precise execution of projects.
• Background in restoration industry work or water damage restoration is a plus; candidates with handyman experience or construction site experience are encouraged to apply.
• A commitment to safety compliance on construction sites is essential for success in this role.
