Flooring Operations Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Support Specialist to help keep our flooring projects and day-to-day operations running smoothly. This position supports customers, sales staff, project managers, and installation crews from the initial inquiry through project completion.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, emails, and customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule estimates, measurements, installations, and service appointments
• Maintain customer and project information
• Assist with preparing estimates, proposals, work orders, and invoices
• Order flooring materials and supplies and help track deliveries
• Coordinate with installers regarding schedules, materials, and job information
• Communicate project updates and scheduling information to customers
• Follow up on outstanding estimates, paperwork, payments, and project details
• Help resolve scheduling or customer-service issues
• Maintain organized electronic and paper records
• Assist with basic bookkeeping and administrative duties as needed
• Provide general support to sales and management

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Professional and friendly customer-service approach
• Ability to manage several projects and priorities at once
• Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, scheduling software, and other computer programs
• Attention to detail and strong follow-through
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flooring, construction, remodeling, or trade-industry experience is preferred but not required

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
