Floorperson – 2nd shift

Position Title: Floorperson (Level 3) – 2nd shift
Department: Manufacturing
Hours: 3:00 p.m. – shift end (hours may vary)
Schedule: Monday – Friday + Saturdays
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour + $1.00/hour shift premium = $22.00/hr
Location: Holland, Michigan

Essential Responsibilities:
As a floorperson, you will play a key role in our production process by ensuring efficiency and precision throughout the manufacturing line. Your primary duties include:

• Setting up and tearing down line equipment based on daily production needs
• Operating and setting up a variety of machines
• Maintaining product weights in accordance with written specifications
• Keeping the production line stocked with necessary raw materials (e.g., noodles, peppers, sauce, pans, etc.)
• Accurately completing production paperwork, including skid tickets
• Counting and tracking ingredients and supplies brought to the line
• Following all safety and housekeeping procedures
• Performing additional tasks as assigned

Key Qualifications:

• One to three months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members

Physical Demands:
This role requires a high level of physical activity, including:

• Extensive walking and standing
• Repetitive motion (hands/wrists)
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Bending, twisting, and stooping

Work Environment:

• Cold and dry conditions
• Wet conditions (may vary)
