Responsibilities

• Assist customers with floral arrangements, plant selections, and gardening advice to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Maintain and organize floral displays, stock shelves with fresh flowers, plants, and gardening supplies
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for cashiering and handle cash transactions accurately while providing friendly customer service
• Identify various plants and flowers to educate customers and ensure proper care instructions are provided
• Manage inventory levels through stocking and merchandising to keep displays attractive and well-organized
• Support e-commerce orders by preparing floral arrangements for delivery or pickup when applicable

Skills

• Strong knowledge of plants and florals
• Experience with floral design and plant identification to assist customers effectively
• Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele
• Proficiency with POS systems, retail math, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
• Outgoing personality with exceptional customer service skills to build rapport with clients
• Organizational skills for managing stock levels, merchandising displays, and maintaining cleanliness
• Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably in various weather conditions while ensuring safety standards are met
