Floral Assistant/Floral Processing

Cheever's Fowers is seeking a dependable, friendly, hardworking person to help keep our busy fkower shop running smoothly. This position focuses primarily on caring for fresh flowers along with general shop support. It is not a floral design position.

Responsibilities include:

• Unpacking incoming flowers, trimming stems, and placing flowers in clean buckets with water.
• Stocking flowers and shop supplies.
• assisting with phone orders and customer service.
• Helping with light clening and other daily shop tasks.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
• Has a positive attitude and works welll with others.
• Is comfortable with hands-on, physical work in a fast-paced environment.
• Is willing to learn and follow proper flower-care procedures.

No prior floral experience is required. We will provide training.

Schedule:

This is a primarity part-time position, with some saturdays required. Ability for full time hours is possible and overtime during extensive holidays such as Valentines and Mother's Day is probable.

Physical requirements:

Duties involve standing for extended periods, bending, lifting and carrying items weighing 25 lbs or more. Therefore, this would not be a suitable position for someone with physical disabilites or limited mobility.
