Floral Studio Apprentice

Job Overview

Nabi Flowers is seeking a Floral Studio Apprentice who is eager to learn and grow within the floral industry. This position is designed as an entry point into floral design, providing hands-on experience in flower care, studio operations, customer service, and floral preparation.

Successful candidates who demonstrate reliability, creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for learning may have the opportunity to advance into a Junior Floral Designer role, with increased responsibilities including floral design, customer consultations, and order creation.

Responsibilities (as below but not limited to:)

Floral & Plant Care

• Flower processing and conditioning

Studio Operations

• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Preparing the studio for daily operations
• Assisting with general studio tasks

Customer Experience

• Taking orders and operating POS systems

Creative Support

• Assisting with floral orders
• Supporting seasonal collections and events

Requirements:

• 18+ years of age.
• Proficient in English language
• Strong willingness to learn
• Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
• Comfortable interacting with customers
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work comfortably on ladders, and able to handle lots of standing

An Asset:

• Korean language skills (not required)
• Interest in flowers, plants, gardening, art, design, or creativity
• Retail or customer service experience
• Photography/social media experience
• Previous floral experience (not required)

Hours:

• Flexible part-time schedule
• Generally 5-15 hours/week
• Additional hours are available based on business needs and seasonal demand
• Availability may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends

Seasonal Availability:

Additional availability is required during peak floral periods, including Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, graduation season, wedding season, and holidays.
