Floral Studio Associate

About Us:

Roots and Blooms (“the Company”) is a privately-owned, floral and gift services company serving a mix of corporate, service industry, and residential clients. Based in Atlanta, GA since 2005 we provide weekly floral installations in office space, restaurant and retail establishments, in addition to retail, special installations for weddings, special events, etc.

Overview of responsibilities:

• Support in studio operations and floral designers to ensure optimized workflow.
• Washing and prepping vessels for daily use and upcoming events.
• Receiving and processing fresh flowers.
• Assist with floral and hard good inventory management.
• Maintain a clean working space including sweeping, organizing the cooler and removing trash at the end of the day.
• Increase team productivity by assisting designers in creating floral arrangements when needed.
• Assist with retail deliveries as needed.
• Deliver, set up, and strike event décor.

Schedule

• 9am - 2pm
• Monday through Thursdays
• Flexibility for weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma

Experience

• The ideal candidate will have experience in floral installation, art installation, film set design, or event set-up.

Other Requirements

• Must possess a valid drivers license and insurance.
• Must have a reliable vehicle to commute to work.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
