Florist

We are looking for a creative, passionate, and customer-focused Florist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong floral design skills, a good understanding of flowers and floral techniques, and the ability to create beautiful arrangements while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

* Create bouquets, flower boxes, vase arrangements, hand-tied arrangements, and custom floral designs according to customer requirements.

* Select and combine flowers, foliage, colors, textures, and materials to achieve balanced and aesthetically pleasing designs.

* Demonstrate good knowledge of seasonal flowers, flower varieties, conditioning, hydration, and proper flower care.

* Prepare and condition fresh flowers to maintain quality, freshness, and longevity.

* Understand customer preferences and translate their ideas into suitable floral designs.

* Assist customers in selecting flowers, colors, sizes, and appropriate arrangements based on their occasion and budget.

* Maintain high standards of floral quality, presentation, finishing, and attention to detail.

* Ensure all orders are completed accurately and on time.

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floral workstation, tools, refrigerators, and boutique.

* Monitor flower and material usage and minimize unnecessary wastage.

* Assist with daily boutique operations, including preparing orders, packaging, deliveries, and displays when required.

* Support floral installations, events, corporate orders, and special projects when needed.

* Work closely with the team to meet daily production and customer-service requirements.

* Follow company standards, floral design guidelines, and quality-control procedures.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Florist is preferred.

* Strong practical knowledge of fresh flowers, foliage, flower care, and conditioning techniques.

* Good understanding of color combinations, proportion, balance, composition, and floral design principles.

* Ability to create modern, classic, minimalist, luxury, and seasonal floral arrangements.

* Good hand-tied bouquet and flower-box-making skills.

* Strong attention to detail and a good creative eye.

* Excellent customer service and communication skills.

* Ability to understand customer requests and provide professional recommendations.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines, especially during peak seasons.

* Positive, professional, and reliable attitude.

* Willingness to learn new techniques and continuously develop floral design skills.

* Candidates with experience in luxury floristry, boutique florals, events, weddings, or corporate floral services will have an advantage.

A strong candidate should be able to take a customer’s idea or brief and confidently turn it into a well-designed floral arrangement while maintaining the quality and standards expected from a professional floral boutique.
