About us

Ruby’s Florist is a family-run florist based on an outdoor stall just outside Hampstead Heath Railway Station. We pride ourselves on creating beautiful floral arrangements for every occasion, from everyday bouquets to luxury weddings and meaningful funeral tributes.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking to expand our team and welcome an experienced, enthusiastic and reliable florist who shares our passion for flowers and wants to contribute fresh ideas to the business.

The role

We are looking for someone with at least one year of proven floristry experience who is confident across a wide range of floristry techniques and is happy to get involved in all aspects of the business.

Our work includes:

* Fresh, everyday bouquets and bespoke floral arrangements

* Weddings and special events

* Funeral flowers and tributes

* Wreaths and seasonal arrangements

* Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and other seasonal collections

* Bespoke designs and customer requests

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will be someone who:

* Has a minimum of one year of professional floristry experience

* Has good practical knowledge of floristry, including conditioning flowers, preparing stems and maintaining fresh stock

* Is confident creating attractive, well-presented floral arrangements

* Can bring fresh ideas, creativity and enthusiasm to our team

* Is reliable, punctual and hardworking

* Is happy to help wherever needed, from flower preparation and arranging to serving customers and keeping the stall organised

* Has good spoken English and can communicate confidently with customers and colleagues

* Can work well independently and as part of a small team

* Is adaptable and comfortable working outdoors in an open-air stall environment

A little more about the role

Please be aware that we operate from an outdoor stall, so the role involves working outside in different weather conditions. A practical, hands-on attitude and a willingness to help with the day-to-day running of the stall are essential.

We are looking for someone who genuinely wants to be part of the team, takes pride in their work and is willing to contribute consistently.
