Project Status: ~60% Complete (UI built; core backend integration required)

Project Overview

We are looking for a skilled Flutter Engineer with strong Firebase expertise to take an existing project from 60% completion to 100% production readiness.

The entire front-end UI design and layout are already complete. Your primary role will be to architect and implement the data layer, connect the existing UI to Firebase, build clean data models, set up Riverpod state management, and write necessary Firebase Cloud Functions.

Key Responsibilities

Backend & Service Integration: Connect Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Security Rules) to the pre-built Flutter UI.

Architecture & State Management: Write clean, maintainable Dart data models, service classes, and Riverpod providers.

Cloud Infrastructure: Write custom Firebase Cloud Functions for backend logic where necessary.

UI Wiring: Connect state management providers and services directly into the pre-existing screen components without breaking visual designs.

Testing & Deployment: Debug, optimize app performance, and prepare the app for final production deployment.

Key Requirements

Location: Must currently reside in Lagos, Nigeria.

Portfolio: Must have at least 1 launched application live on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or Web (verifiable link required).

Education: Degree/Graduate preferred (exceptional students/undergraduates with strong portfolios will be considered).

Technical Skills:

Advanced knowledge of Flutter & Dart.

Deep experience with Riverpod state management and repository pattern.

Strong full-stack mindset with heavy proficiency in the Firebase ecosystem (Firestore, Auth, Storage, Cloud Functions).

Understanding of clean architecture principles (separating UI, logic, models, and data layers).

Ability to jump into an existing codebase and write clean, documented code.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience writing Node.js/TypeScript for Firebase Cloud Functions.

Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines or App Store / Play Store deployment workflows.
