FM Engineer

We are looking for an experienced FM Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, MEP operations, and building maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical systems, managing maintenance activities, supervising technical teams, and ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of facility assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems, including HVAC, chillers, pumps, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
• Plan, implement, and monitor preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and ensure timely resolution of technical issues and maintenance requests.
• Supervise technicians, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure quality and timely completion of work.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with HSE standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, equipment records, and technical reports through CAFM/CMMS systems.
• Monitor equipment performance, energy efficiency, spare parts, and maintenance costs.
• Coordinate with clients, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth facilities management operations.
• Ensure mechanical assets and building services are maintained in accordance with operational and contractual requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management, MEP maintenance, or building operations.
• Strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, plumbing, and mechanical building services.
• Proven experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, and technical team supervision.
• Familiarity with CAFM/CMMS systems, maintenance reporting, and asset management.
• Knowledge of HSE procedures and facilities management standards.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, coordination, and client management skills.
• Previous FM experience in Qatar is preferred.

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
