FM Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

FM Maintenance Engineer is responsible for leading and managing all maintenance operations within the school campus to ensure facilities, utilities, and building systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with international standards. The role includes preventive maintenance planning, contractor management, project supervision, budgeting support, and team leadership to maintain a high-quality learning environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance operations for all school facilities and infrastructure.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for:

HVAC systems

Electrical systems

Plumbing and sanitary systems

Fire alarm and fire protection systems

Generators and backup power systems

Water treatment and pumping systems

Playground and sports facilities

Building automation systems (BMS)

• Ensure all systems operate efficiently with minimal downtime.

 Team Leadership:

• Supervise maintenance technicians and support staff.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance.
• Support staff training and development on maintenance and safety procedures.
• Promote teamwork and service-minded culture.

Contractor & Project Management:

• Coordinate and supervise contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Review quotations, scope of work (SOW), and technical specifications.
• Monitor renovation, improvement, and construction projects within campus.
• Ensure work quality, safety compliance, and timely completion

Preventive Maintenance & Asset Management:

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and asset documentation.
• Support asset lifecycle management and equipment replacement planning.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and maintenance materials.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and school policies.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and risk assessments.
• Support emergency response plans, evacuation drills, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate with security, Housekeeper and related team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related Engineering
• Experience in M&E System
• Engineering License
• Communication skills (Thai & English)
• Leadership skills
• AutoCAD skill
• Computer skills in presentation software or programmes
