Job description:

FOH / Cashier Dang Dude / Proper House Group | Tampa, FL $17 - $23 / Hour

About Us

Proper House Group is a Tampa-born hospitality group behind Rooster & the Till, Ash, Alter Ego, Gallito, and Dang Dude. We're cooks, servers, bartenders, and hospitality people who believe the details matter, the work matters, and the people we work alongside matter. Our kitchens are built on craft, consistency, and a commitment to getting better every day.

The Role

We're looking for FOH / Cashiers team members who take pride in their station and want to grow. You'll prepare boba teas, assist guests with their orders, among other FOH duties — while working alongside teammates who care as much as you do about putting out great food and taking care of each other.

What You'll Do

• Set up and stock your station so you're ready before the rush
• Prepare, pour teas, and take care of guests with consistency and care
• Keep your area clean and organized throughout service—not just at the end
• Communicate clearly with the team to keep guests orders moving
• Jump in to help teammates when you see they need it
• Break down, clean, and reset for the next shift

Who You Are

• Positive Presence — You bring energy to the restaurant. You make the people around you better, even when it's busy.
• Relentless Effort — You don't cut corners. When something's not right, you fix it. When the team needs you, you show up.
• Open to Better — You take feedback well and use it. You want to learn and you're not too proud to ask questions.
• Eyes on Everything — You see what needs to be done without being told. Your station is tight and you notice when something's off.

What You Bring

• Hospitality & guest service experience
• Ability to work on your feet and lift up to 30 lbs
• Strong sense of urgency and organization
• A team-first mentality

What We Offer

• 50% discount at all PHG concepts
• $150 Birthday Dinner Credit at our sister concepts
• Paid training
• Flexible scheduling
• Employee wellness program
• Referral bonuses
• Real advancement opportunities—we promote from within

Benefits:

• Employee discount
• Flexible schedule
