Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar booking systems
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient processing
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, spirits, wines, and specialty drinks to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Process cash and card transactions accurately while maintaining balanced cash drawers at shift end
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards through bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and adhering to food handling protocols
• Assist with guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations to encourage repeat visits

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Proven ability in food service roles within fine dining or high-volume environments
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Demonstrated sales ability through upselling techniques and product recommendations
• Background in food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong communication abilities
• Experience working in hospitality settings such as restaurants, nightclubs, or food industry venues
