FOH Host

We're looking for an experienced Host to join the front-of-house team at Tangerine MCR.

This isn't an entry-level hosting role. We're looking for someone confident managing a busy reservations desk, delivering exceptional guest service, and keeping service running smoothly in a high-volume cocktail bar, food hall and events venue.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and seating guests with a warm, professional welcome.
• Managing reservations and walk-ins using SevenRooms.
• Coordinating table allocations, guest flow and turns throughout service.
• Communicating effectively with the floor and bar teams.
• Supporting large bookings and private events.
• Handling guest enquiries and resolving issues with confidence.
• Maintaining an organised and professional host station.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Host or Reservations Host in a busy hospitality venue.
• Experience using SevenRooms (essential).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• A professional, friendly and proactive approach.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Why Tangerine?

Tangerine is one of Manchester's most exciting hospitality venues, combining a vibrant cocktail bar, food hall, live entertainment and private events. No two shifts are the same, and we're looking for someone who thrives in a lively environment and takes pride in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

If you're experienced, organised and know your way around SevenRooms, we'd love to hear from you.
