Job Description: We’re Opening in Cambridge - November 2026!

We’re excited to announce the opening of our brand-new café in Cambridge in November 2026, and we’re on the lookout for talented people to join our growing team.

We’ll be a DAYTIME-ONLY café, so if you love hospitality, delivering fantastic customer service, and being part of a friendly, energetic team, we’d love to hear from you!

This will be our third hospitality venue, so you’ll be joining an established, independent business with a proven track record and a team full of passion and energy. We operate daytime-only hours, making this a great opportunity for people who want a rewarding role while enjoying a better work-life balance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, weekend availability required

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing friendly, professional and efficient customer service to every guest
• Welcoming customers and helping them feel comfortable and looked after
• Taking customer orders accurately and answering questions about our menu
• Serving food and drinks promptly and ensuring everything meets our presentation standards
• Ensuring tables are clean, tidy and ready for incoming guests
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the café
• Working closely with the kitchen and wider team to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Handling customer queries and resolving any issues in a friendly and professional manner
• Processing payments accurately when required
• Helping with setting up and closing down the café
• Restocking service areas and ensuring everything is ready for busy periods
• Following all food hygiene, health and safety procedures
• Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive, welcoming team environment
• Helping with opening and/or closing duties as required

Skills & Experience

Preferred:

• Customer service experience: 1 year
• Café or restaurant experience: 1 year
• Hospitality experience: 1 year
